The Role

Responsibilities: 

  • Inspiring and shaping clinical thinking and practice by providing clinical supervision, workforce development, staff engagement, and collaboration.
  • Fostering strong working relationships through leadership and strategic direction.
  • Delivering results by overseeing management, meeting clinical outcomes and KPIs, and adopting a client-centered approach to service delivery.
  • Committing to supporting reconciliation between the First Nations Community and the Non-Indigenous community by engaging in community outreach, cultural awareness, cultural humility, and continuing education.

This role be based in our Dubbo office, supporting the Western region and will be required to travel across multiple sites within the region, including Orange.

Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive professional experience in family dispute resolution, counseling, or therapeutic support for children and families, with preferred expertise in one or more clinical areas.
  • Accreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) with the Attorney General’s Department or relevant credentials in individual and family counseling.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal and State legislation, particularly concerning child welfare and family law.
  • Proven experience in management, clinical supervision, and leading multidisciplinary teams working with vulnerable families, children, and youth.
