The role:
As an Occupational Therapist in this role, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based, and person-centred therapy services to a diverse range of clients under NDIS, Medicare, WorkSafe, and TAC frameworks. You will be responsible for delivering clinical interventions such as prescribing assistive technology, assessing home modifications, conducting functional capacity evaluations, and developing comprehensive reports to support participant needs. Your focus will be on working collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to establish and achieve meaningful therapeutic goals.
You will also play a key role in operational efficiency by working closely with the operations team to manage scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow. Ensuring accurate and timely billing of services will be a critical aspect of your role, alongside maintaining a structured and organized approach to service delivery. By monitoring key operational metrics, you will contribute to continuous improvement strategies that enhance client outcomes and streamline internal processes.
Compliance and quality assurance will be integral to your responsibilities, ensuring all services adhere to AHPRA regulations, Occupational Health and Safety standards, and NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission guidelines. You will help implement and uphold best practice frameworks to maintain the highest standards of care. Working closely with internal teams, you will ensure alignment with organizational policies and procedures, reinforcing a culture of excellence in occupational therapy service provision.
Essential Criteria- Minimum Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy or relevant discipline
- AHPRA registration (can support Limited Reg)
- Valid NDIS Check
- Working With Children Check
- Police Check
- Driving License
- First Aid + CPR Certificate or proof of booking
