Familiy Dispute Resolution Practitioner / Mediator

The role:

• Provide high-quality FDR/Mediation services, including risk assessments, in accordance with the Family Law Act and industry best practices.
• Focus on creating sustainable agreements for parenting, finances, and property.
• Work within a collaborative, culturally respectful team environment, supported by training and development opportunities.
• Work closely with other programs to ensure child wellbeing and facilitate parenting education on conflict resolution.
• Strengthen services by coaching new practitioners, contributing to growth, and maintaining effective referral pathways.

Requirements:

• Qualification as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and also be accredited as such with the Attorney Generals Dep
• Experience in Mediation with separating couples and families, and knowledge of Child Inclusive Practice.
• Strong communication, engagement skills, and knowledge of Family Law, Child Protection, and Domestic/Family Violence legislation.
