The Role
As a Clinical Lead for the Early Psychosis program, you will provide clinical leadership, supervision, and direct care to young people and their families. Working closely with the Early Psychosis Program Manager and Clinical Director, you will ensure that care is delivered in line with national guidelines and best practice models. This role involves both clinical supervision of staff and hands-on work with a small caseload.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and clinical supervision to a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ensure the delivery of culturally appropriate care to young people and families.
  • Manage clinical risk and oversee quality assurance activities.
  • Participate in clinical reviews, audits, and ongoing professional development.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and development of service policies and procedures.
  • Deliver direct clinical care and interventions for young people at risk of or experiencing psychosis.
Essential Criteria
  • Tertiary qualification in a mental health-related field and registration with the relevant professional body (e.g., AHPRA, AASW).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mental health and 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in providing early intervention and group programs in youth mental health.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with young Aboriginal people and culturally diverse communities.
  • Northern Territory Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card) and a National Police Check.
  • Current NT Driver’s Licence and willingness to obtain First Aid Certification.
