Enrolled Nurse - AOD

• $49.50 per hour AM rate - plus penalties $68-91 per hour on weekends/OT. 
• Shifts could be AM PM or ND over 7 days 
• Regular casual work with potential to turn into permanent
• Provide vital care to individuals during their withdrawal journey, making a genuine difference in their lives.

The Role

As an Enrolled Nurse in the Withdrawal Unit, you will:

• Conduct clinical observations and assessments using withdrawal-specific tools.
• Administer medications, provide basic wound care, and collaborate on treatment plans.
• Deliver person-centered, trauma-informed care to clients with complex needs.
• Work alongside GPs and Nurse Practitioners to ensure seamless continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in therapeutic activities.
• Contribute to a safe and supportive environment by identifying and addressing risks.

Requirements

• A diploma or equivalent qualification in Enrolled Nursing.
• Experience in the AOD sector or working with individuals facing addiction and co-occurring conditions.
• Strong medical assessment and decision-making skills, particularly in crisis situations.
• Familiarity with medication handling regulations and infection control procedures.
• Competence with Microsoft Office and digital documentation systems.
