About the Role:

Within this role, you will provide high-quality, client-focused therapeutic services including family support, assessments and training for careers, parents and support teams.

  • Evaluating, developing and delivering evidence-based positive behaviour support plans and interventions
  • Conducting a variety of assessments for participants of all ages and all disabilities
  • Develop, deliver and monitor interventions and strategies for the management of behaviours of concern
  • Provide training to relevant stakeholders in therapeutic interventions, behaviour support plans, restricted practices, risk and safety plans
  • Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team

 

Criteria:

  • Assessed by the NDIS at being Core or above as a Behaviour Support Practitioner or Registered Psychologist
  • Provisional Psychologists encouraged to apply
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or equivalent experience that meets the requirements of the NDIS Capability Framework.
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC), National Police Check (NPC) and NDIS Workers Clearance or willingness to obtain
  • Unrestricted Drivers Licence, reliable car and willingness to travel
  • Current First Aid Certificate
