The Job
As the Team Manager for Occupational Therapy, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to enhance the well-being of NDIS participants. You’ll work closely with our client’s clinicians, the State Manager, and other allied health staff to ensure timely and effective service delivery. You’ll manage and support a team of Occupational Therapists, fostering a culture of excellence and client-focused outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct assessments, oversee interventions, and ensure best practice care for NDIS participants. Perform monthly file audits and regular case reviews.
  • Team Leadership: Participate in the recruitment, induction, and development of new team members. Provide feedback and performance appraisals, and support ongoing training and professional growth.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with clients, facilities, and support coordinators. Promote a customer-service-focused culture, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat referrals.
  • Operational Performance: Monitor team performance, manage KPIs, and maintain compliance with documentation, billing, and quality standards. Represent the leadership team and enhance the organizational culture.
Essential Criteria
  • A degree in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered Occupational Therapist, ideally with experience in community settings.
  • Demonstrated skills in coaching, mentoring, and quality assurance.
  • Current National Crime Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
