Your Role:
As the Team Lead - Positive Behaviour Support, you’ll get the chance to lead and mentor a team of 3-4 Behaviour Support Practitioners, while maintaining a small caseload yourself. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that the services meet all compliance and quality standards, while providing guidance and professional development to your team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a small team of Behaviour Support Practitioners
- Ensure service compliance with NDIS regulations, licensing, and quality standards
- Provide supervision and professional development to your team
- Oversee report reviews and ensure high-quality documentation
- Deliver top-tier behaviour support services aligned with NDIS plans
- Conduct functional behaviour assessments and develop individualised PBS plans
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, therapists, and external stakeholders
- Implement and support organisational changes as needed
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
About You:
We’re looking for someone who has:
- A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a senior role within the disability or mental health sector
- Proficiency Level or above is essential
- A proven ability to develop, implement, monitor, and review complex behaviour support plans
- Leadership experience – including training, mentoring, and supervising a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of NDIS regulations and compliance requirements
- A Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Clearance
- A valid driver’s licence
