About the role
Key Responsibilities
  • Overseeing a team of 7, 5 Speechies and 2 AHA's while managing a caseload of 3 billable hours per day.
  • Provide supervision and consultative support to the Speech Pathology team
  • Oversee training and professional development, identify any gaps in skillsets that can be improved.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings and contribute to leadership discussions
  • Support the review and development of policies and lead change initiatives
  • Focus on risk management and achieving the best outcomes for clients
Essential Criteria
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
  • Membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Leadership or supervisory experience, or a minimum of 4 years as a Speech Pathologist
  • Knowledge of developmental delays, disorders, and relevant clinical assessments
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex communication needs is desirable
