The Role

As a Speech Pathologist, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred outcomes for people supported by our client, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. You will actively support individual NDIS participants by providing expert speech pathology services based on evidence-based practice and policy. Additionally, you will collaborate with Support Coordinators and Support Workers to provide holistic care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide speech pathology assessment, intervention, and evaluation for NDIS participants.
  • Deliver clinical practice in direct care through the application of evidence-based practices and policies.
  • Educate and Support: Work closely with participants, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
  • Participate in review meetings and case conferences as needed.
  • Maintain clinical documentation in line with the standards set by Speech Pathology Australia and the NDIS.

Essential Criteria

  • Tertiary Qualification in Speech Pathology, registered with AHPRA to practice in Australia
  • Valid Driver’s Licence, Police Check, NDIS Screening Check, WWCC
  • Experience working with people with disability, psychosocial disability, families, and carers
  • Experience in paediatric health (0-18 years) and early intervention
  • Commitment to providing professional and positive support, promoting individual needs, skills, abilities, and personal goals for people with disabilities
  • Demonstrated commitment to the values of dignity, respect, inclusion, empowerment, confidentiality, and strength-based practice
