The Role:
Our client, a leading provider of therapy and support services, is seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic multi-disciplinary team and provide evidence-based, goal-directed services. You will have the chance to make a significant impact on the lives of children & Adults with diverse needs and disabilities, supporting their development and enhancing their quality of life.
The primary responsibility of the Speech Pathologist is to deliver comprehensive Speech Language Pathology assessments and interventions within both clinic and community settings. Key duties include:
- Providing clinically appropriate assessment and intervention services.
- Delivering evidence-based and goal-directed therapy to improve reading, speech, language, swallowing, and literacy skills.
- Assessing and recommending mealtime management and swallowing interventions as necessary.
- Modeling and demonstrating behaviors in line with the company values and code of conduct.
Essential Criteria:
- Strong clinical skills
- Interest in outcome-focused clinical therapy and evidence-based practice.
- Experience working within the NDIS field
- Proficiency in administering a range of assessments and interventions.
- Ability to build client and family capacity to support child development.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Access to own car and a valid driver’s license.
- Current NDIS worker check, First Aid and CPR certification, and a valid WWCC.
- SPA Registration and qualifications in Speech Pathology.
