The role:
As a Speech Pathologist in this role, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy to a diverse range of clients across NDIS, Medicare, WorkSafe, and TAC frameworks. You will conduct comprehensive assessments related to speech, communication, swallowing, and assistive technology, tailoring intervention plans to support participants in achieving their goals. Your work will involve close collaboration with clients, families, and other stakeholders to deliver person-centred care and meaningful outcomes.

You will also play a key role in operational efficiency by working closely with the operations team to manage scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow. Ensuring accurate and timely billing of services will be a critical aspect of your role, alongside maintaining a structured and organized approach to service delivery. By monitoring key operational metrics, you will contribute to continuous improvement strategies that enhance client outcomes and streamline internal processes.

Compliance and quality assurance will be integral to your responsibilities, ensuring all services adhere to AHPRA regulations, Occupational Health and Safety standards, and NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission guidelines. You will help implement and uphold best practice frameworks to maintain the highest standards of care. Working closely with internal teams, you will ensure alignment with organizational policies and procedures, reinforcing a culture of excellence in occupational therapy service provision.

Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Speech Pathology or relevant discipline
  • SPA registration
  • Valid NDIS Check
  • Working With Children Check
  • Police Check
  • Driving License
  • First Aid + CPR Certificate or proof of booking
