We Care About Our Community
At Curamoir Healthcare, we’re passionate about supporting vulnerable people and underprivileged communities across Australia.
Our team regularly takes part in initiatives focused on mental health, youth homelessness, gender equality, and supporting children and families in need. We believe in giving back through time, funding, and ongoing support wherever possible.
The leadership team is particularly committed to making a meaningful difference and is always open to partnering with charities and not-for-profit organisations.
If there’s an opportunity to work together, we’d love to hear from you.
Christmas Campaign: Youth Homelessness and Out-of-Home Care Services
The Curamoir team collected gifts and vouchers to give to young children in youth homelessness refuges and young people residing in out-of-home care, through Taldumande Youth Services and The Burdekin Association.
Our goal was to gift every child in the service with a surprise to wake up to on Christmas morning. These services deliver support through a range of programs, services, and accommodation to young people in need.

City2Surf 2024: Fundraising for The Black Dog Institute
In August 2024, the Curamoir team brought out their competitive spirit by running in the Westpac City2Surf 14km run, the largest fun run in the Southern Hemisphere.
Mental health is something many of our team members are passionate about, and it felt fitting to support The Black Dog Institute. This not-for-profit medical research organisation is dedicated to improving mental health through research, clinical services, digital tools, and education.
It was a close race between the Curamoir participants, but kudos to Aaron Byrne who took bragging rights for the fastest time across the team.

Sydney Half Marathon: Supporting The White Ribbon Foundation
The Curamoir team ran in the Sydney Half Marathon to raise funds and awareness for The White Ribbon Foundation, a global movement of men and boys working to end male violence against women and girls.
The campaign was a chance to help start a conversation around reducing future violence, promoting gender equality, and building relationships based on respect.

Sleeping Under the Stars: Supporting Stepping Stone House
Almost 46,000 young Australians under 25 are seeking a safe place to sleep. Over the past three years, Curamoir has taken part in the Sleeping Under the Stars event, supporting Stepping Stone House.
This initiative raises funds to help Stepping Stone House provide accommodation and ongoing support for young people experiencing homelessness.
By sleeping outside, the team helps raise awareness and much-needed resources for this important cause.

Little Wings is a not-for-profit organisation that transports children from regional areas to children’s hospitals, free of charge. Their tagline, “Your Journey is Our Mission,” reflects their commitment to helping families access vital medical care, with the support of volunteers, partners, and community donors.
