The role:
As a Senior Speech Pathologist, you will provide expert assessment and intervention for clients of all ages, addressing language, literacy, and communication needs in home, community, and office settings. You will develop and implement tailored therapy plans that align with client goals, ensuring evidence-based and culturally responsive practices. Your role will also involve mentoring and guiding junior clinicians to uphold high-quality service delivery.

In this position, you will take a leadership role in multidisciplinary collaboration, working closely with other allied health professionals to provide holistic care. You will be responsible for developing innovative therapy strategies, monitoring client progress, and adapting interventions to support diverse communication challenges. Your expertise will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, shaping best practices within the team.

Beyond direct client care, you will provide clinical supervision and professional development support to team members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence. You will also engage with families, caregivers, and support networks, empowering them with strategies to enhance communication outcomes. Your commitment to culturally safe, strengths-based approaches will ensure inclusive and meaningful support for all clients.

Essential Criteria
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Speech Pathology or relevant discipline
  • SPA registration
  • Valid NDIS Check
  • Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
