Location: Community based role
Billable Hours: 5.2 hours per day (Less if overseeing junior Speechies)

Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Speech Pathologist to join their dedicated team. As a Senior Speech Pathologist, you will deliver comprehensive Speech Pathology services to clients facing a range of communication challenges. Your advanced clinical skills will enable you to develop effective intervention strategies, mentor early-career therapists, and contribute to team and service improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality assessments and interventions to promote clients’ health and independence.
  • Collaborate with clients, their families, and support networks to tailor effective care plans.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of therapy programs and adjust plans to ensure goal achievement.
  • Act as a mentor to less experienced speech pathologists, supporting their professional growth.
  • Ensure clinical processes align with industry best practices and client-specific needs.
Essential Criteria
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Pathology, with a minimum of 3-5 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Eligible for registration with Speech Pathology Australia and holds relevant certifications (e.g., NDISWC, WWCC).
  • Proven experience in health, disability, or aged care sectors, ideally within community-based settings.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong ability to manage varied caseloads effectively.
