They are dedicated to providing tailored approaches to meet the unique needs of each person. They are seeking a Senior Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join their team where they will be able to provide supervision to practitioners.
The Role
As a Senior Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will:
- Conduct individual functional assessments (FBA) using best practice principles
- Provide supervision to practitioners as required.
- Prepare behaviour assessment reports and risk assessment documents
- Develop person-centered Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans aligned with NDIS PBS Capability Framework
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Behaviour Support interventions
- Collaborate with clients, families, and support teams to implement tailored approaches for increased wellbeing and goal achievement.
- Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health (Psychology, Development Education, Social Work)
- Experience in developing and implementing client support plans in Disability services or similar
- Registered with appropriate National Body (e.g., Developmental Educators Australia Inc., Australian Association of Social Workers)
- Understanding of the NDIS and disability sector
- Valid Working With Children Check and up-to-date Covid-19 vaccination record
- Current and unrestricted South Australian Driver's License with access to a vehicle
