The Job
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join thier multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive assessments and therapy interventions to children and families, using a family-centred approach. You will play a key role in supporting families and collaborating with educators and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessments and therapy interventions to clients and families using evidence-based practices.
  • Educate and guide parents and caregivers on therapy goals and recommendations.
  • Develop, conduct, and evaluate individual therapy sessions, ensuring clear communication of intervention plans to families.
  • Monitor and document client progress, adapting intervention plans to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with educational staff and other service providers.
  • Collaborate with families and educators to implement tailored programs for children.

Essential Criteria
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • General AHPRA registration.
  • Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screen Check.
  • Valid driver’s license and current police check.
