The Job
An exciting opportunity for a Senior Occupational Therapist with solid NDIS experience. The role will involve working across the lifespan, 5 – 65 years of age. This leadership role involves overseeing and mentoring junior therapists while managing a diverse caseload across clinic-based and outreach settings. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing individual care plans while providing expert guidance and training to colleagues and support networks.

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Occupational Therapist with solid NDIS experience. The role will involve working across the lifespan, 5 – 65 years of age. This leadership role involves overseeing and mentoring junior therapists while managing a diverse caseload across clinic-based and outreach settings. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing individual care plans while providing expert guidance and training to colleagues and support networks.
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to clients.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualised care plans.
- Mentor and support junior therapists, fostering their professional growth.
- Provide leadership and contribute to the strategic development of the service.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive client outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with professional standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy), or a Master’s in Occupational Therapy.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Previous experience in a senior or leadership occupational therapy role.
- Valid DHS (DCSI) Clearances, including Working with Children and NDIS Worker Screening.
- Completion of Reporting Abuse and Neglect and Applied First Aid training (or willingness to obtain).
- Current driver’s licence and access to a registered, insured vehicle for business purposes.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to support a team.
