The Role
Our client is seeking a passionate Rehabilitation Consultant to join their Sydney team. As a key member, you will work closely with individuals who have experienced a psychological or physical workplace injury. You will play a pivotal role in assessing their needs and devising effective strategies to ensure a safe return to work, either with their current employer or in a new role.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting worksite, vocational, functional, and ergonomic assessments
  • Developing return-to-work (RTW) plans and implementing strategies to meet RTW benchmarks
  • Collaborating with insurers, medical practitioners, employers, and employees to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the company

Essential Criteria
To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications and relevant registration in Rehabilitation Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or Psychology
  • A minimum of one year of experience in occupational rehabilitation or injury management (preferred)
  • Proven communication skills to engage confidently with stakeholders, including insurers, medical practitioners, and employers
  • A current Australian driver’s license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • A commitment to providing high levels of customer service and a positive client experience
