The Job
This role involves delivering workplace rehabilitation services, including assessments, case management, and return-to-work strategies. You will engage with a variety of stakeholders, including employers, insurers, and healthcare providers, to create tailored solutions for injured employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Meeting Return-to-Work (RTW) state benchmarks.
- Conducting assessments such as worksite, vocational, functional, ergonomic, and job analysis.
- Designing and implementing RTW programs to overcome barriers.
- Liaising with insurers, medical practitioners, employers, and workers to achieve shared goals.
- Completing accurate documentation and adhering to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Actively identifying and pursuing opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, or Rehabilitation Counselling (or an equivalent WorkCover-accredited discipline).
- Full and current registration in the relevant discipline.
- A minimum of one year of experience in occupational rehabilitation and/or injury management (desirable).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to gather and analyse information for thorough assessments.
- Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle.
