The role:
As a Rehabilitation Consultant, your primary focus will be providing comprehensive return-to-work and rehabilitation services for injured individuals, including those affected by motor accidents. You will conduct assessments, case management, and create tailored recovery plans, working closely with insurers, employers, and other stakeholders. This role requires autonomy, with support from a multi-disciplinary team of allied health professionals.

Your responsibilities will include achieving billable targets by managing cases, ensuring thorough documentation of client progress, and meeting quality assurance standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with employers and insurers to maximize successful job placements and foster repeat business opportunities. Strong communication, time management, and computer literacy skills are essential to effectively manage workload and case requirements.

You will also contribute discipline-specific expertise to support team capability, participate in regular file reviews, and maintain a commitment to professional development. The role offers a dynamic environment that values a proactive approach, teamwork, and adherence to best practices in workplace rehabilitation.

Essential Criteria
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Social Work or Rehabilitation Counselling
  • Relevant professional registration
  • Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance and Professional Liability
  • Driving License and access to reliable vehicle
  • ComCare Accreditation (desirable)
