The Role:

Our client is seeking a Registered Psychologist to join their Therapy and Behaviour Support Team. In this role, you will provide psychological assessment and intervention services to individuals, including those living with disabilities, while also offering support to their families and caregivers. You will be responsible for delivering therapeutic interventions in line with clinical governance frameworks, conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, and developing tailored intervention plans to meet individual needs.
Collaboration is central to the role, involving close work with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams. You will also provide supervision and guidance to Provisional Psychologists, contribute to ongoing professional development, participate in clinical supervision, and attend regular team meetings. Requirements:

  • Full registration as a Registered Psychologist with AHPRA
  • Experience in psychological assessment and therapy, particularly for children and adults with disabilities
  • Strong knowledge of early intervention and best practices in disability support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage complex cases and work effectively in a team
  • Current Driver’s Licence and access to a registered, comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Valid First Aid Certificate, National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working with Children Check.
