The Role:
Our client is seeking a Registered Psychologist & Behaviour Support Practitioner to join their team in Kingsgrove. 
An opportunity to work with one of Australia's largest not-for-profit disability service providers, supporting over 5,600 people with complex intellectual, physical, and multiple disabilities across New South Wales. 
  • Deliver therapy and assessments using evidence-based methods for individuals or groups.
  • Work across the lifespan
  • Develop high-quality, culturally sensitive positive behaviour support plans.
  • Create individualised strategies to reduce behaviours of concern and minimise restrictive practices.
  • Plan and deliver behaviour support approaches compliant with NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and OH&S legislation.
  • Implement positive behavioural support services tailored to clients NDIS plan goals.
  • Lodge behaviour support plans with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
  • Educate staff, clients, families, and other stakeholders on NDIS Commission’s behaviour support function.
  • Provide training and support to families and support workers.
  • Liaise with clients' support networks and relevant persons in their environment.
  • Participate in service evaluation and maintain accurate client records.
Essential Criteria:
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners. AHPRA registration as a Registered Psychologist.
  • Eligible to be registered as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner.
  • Valid NSW Driver’s License and use of own car
  • Ability to travel during work hours and work across various environments including client homes, schools, and community settings.
  • Current Working with Children’s check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and/or Current Police Check.
