The Role:
To provide high quality, clinical assessments and evidence-based interventions to patients following a work related or motor vehicle accident. The Psychologist’s role is intentionally split between distinct roles of an assessor e.g. delivering expert clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning and on other cases the role of a therapist i.e. short term, evidence based therapeutic interventions to achieve sustainable improvement in measures of psychological wellbeing and function.

The Role:

The Psychologist’s role is intentionally split between distinct roles of an assessor e.g. delivering expert clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning and on other cases the role of a therapist i.e. short term, evidence based therapeutic interventions to achieve sustainable improvement in measures of psychological wellbeing and function.
Criteria:
- Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
- SIRA registered or eligible for registration
- Advanced skills in delivery of evidence-based treatment for psychological conditions with a CBT or EMDR focus.
- Experienced in delivering assessment reports
- Strong interpersonal skills and well-developed negotiation skills.
- Team player and ability to take direction.
- Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team
- Knowledge and experience of the compensable injury sector (Desirable)
