The role:
The purpose of this position is to independently provide individualised Behaviour support services that meet the needs of individuals presenting with behaviours of concern and clients with complex presentations including intellectual disabilities, communication difficulties, mental health and personality disorders.

High component of client facing activities which count towards Provisional Psychology internship hours.
Dependant on your qualification and experience you will be responsible for:
  • Positive behaviour support assessment and  interventions
  • Counselling and therapy work also provided for provisional or registered psychologists.
  • Provision of effective, evidence based assessments,  therapy, motivational and behavioural counselling to a range of clients
  • Conduct psychometric, behavioural  and vocational assessments,
  • Provide  psycho-cognitive education to clients
  • Achieve client defined clinical outcomes such as reducing challenging behaviour & improving quality of life

Essential Criteria:
  • Tertiary Qualification in Psychology, Behaviour Science, Developmental Education, Special Education, Social Work or Occupational Therapy
  • Relevant registration associated with qualification
  • BSP Registration (Core, Proficient, Advanced, Specialist)
  • Access to reliable and fully insured vehicle 
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • WWCC
