In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assessing physical conditions, creating treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to improve patient health and well-being.
The Role
- Evaluate patients’ physical conditions through comprehensive diagnostic assessments.
- Develop customized treatment plans that address individuals’ needs and objectives.
- Utilize a range of techniques and interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, education, and advice to treat various injuries and health conditions.
- Monitor patients’ progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Liaise with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and recovery.
- Maintain updated patient records and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and standards.
- Provide guidance and advice to patients and their families on post-treatment care.
- Continually update knowledge and skills through professional development activities.
Essential Criteria
- Degree in Physiotherapy
- Full AHPRA registration
- Excellent knowledge of physiology, rehabilitation principles, and physiotherapy best practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with patients and healthcare team.
- Strong communication abilities, with an empathetic, patient-centric approach.
- Practical knowledge of health and safety guidelines within a physiotherapy setting.
- Skilled in using modern physiotherapy technology and equipment.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and work independently.
