Your responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, and working collaboratively with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to support children's developmental needs. You will provide therapy in various settings, including the clinic, homes, schools, preschools, and childcare centres, ensuring a flexible and client-centred approach to care.
In this role, you will also be responsible for maintaining thorough documentation, including progress reports and standardized assessments, to track client development effectively. If you have experience working with NDIS-funded clients, conducting initial and functional capacity assessments, or writing NDIS reports, this will be highly regarded. Additionally, you may contribute to the planning and facilitation of popular school holiday group programs, offering a dynamic and engaging way to support children alongside your colleagues.
Beyond direct client care, you will have opportunities for professional growth, including mentoring, supervision, and involvement in business development initiatives. Regular in-house professional development sessions, team caseload meetings, and collaborative learning experiences will support your ongoing education and career advancement. If you are passionate about paediatric occupational therapy and thrive in a flexible, team-oriented environment, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
