The role:
As an Occupational Therapist with our client, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of NDIS participants, conducting comprehensive functional capacity assessments, and designing therapy programs that align with participant goals. You will utilise clinical skills to assess physical and psychological abilities, recommend assistive technology, and develop participant-centred interventions to enhance independence and life skills. Your role will also involve providing best-practice, evidence-based therapy services that support participants in achieving meaningful and sustainable outcomes.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with participants, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality service delivery. You will be expected to provide clear documentation, report on progress, and deliver recommendations that help adapt environments to better support participant needs. Access to clinical mentors and leaders will be available to support your growth, alongside opportunities for professional development and continuous learning.

This position requires strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills to effectively balance caseload responsibilities. You will also need to maintain compliance with NDIS requirements, hold relevant clearances, and have a valid driver’s licence for travel to participant locations. Essential Criteria
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy or relevant discipline
  • AHPRA registration
  • Minimum experience of 9 months
  • Valid NDIS Check
  • Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
