The role:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive assessments and treatment plans tailored to meet the individual needs of your patients. You will design and implement evidence-based interventions, such as therapeutic exercises, environmental modifications, and the use of adaptive equipment.

Collaboration will be central to your role, as you work alongside a multidisciplinary team that may include physiotherapists, psychologists, speech therapists, and other health professionals. You will contribute to the development of holistic care plans, ensuring patients receive the most effective support possible. Communication with patients and their families is essential, as you will provide education on therapy goals and strategies for maintaining progress outside of the clinical setting.

In addition to direct patient care, you will maintain detailed documentation, recording assessment findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries. This will ensure compliance with professional standards and organizational policies. You will also stay updated with the latest research and best practices through professional development opportunities, ensuring your clinical skills remain sharp and your patients receive the highest quality care.
