Our Client
Our client is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional Disability Employee Rehabilitation and Risk Management services for nearly 20 years. They provide a collaborative and innovative environment for their team members to thrive.
The Role
They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our client's team in Adelaide. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting injured employees' recovery and facilitating their safe return to work.
Responsibilities include
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of work-related injuries and developing customised rehabilitation plans.
- Collaborating with employers, insurers, and other stakeholders to coordinate rehabilitation efforts and facilitate timely return-to-work outcomes.
- Providing occupational therapy treatment and implementing functional rehabilitation programs to optimise employees' capacity to perform their job duties.
- Conducting ergonomic assessments and providing recommendations to minimise workplace injury risks.
- Offering education and training sessions to employees on injury prevention strategies and promoting a culture of health and safety in the workplace.
- Implementing a range of occupational therapy techniques to improve function, reduce pain, and enhance overall workplace performance.
Essential Criteria
- Full AHPRA
- Tertiary Qualification.
- Proven experience in occupational health or rehabilitation settings.
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of musculoskeletal injuries and experience in developing return-to-work programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Sound knowledge of ergonomic principles and experience conducting workplace assessments.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
