Job Description
Our client is seeking dedicated mental health clinicians. These roles are part of a transformative mental health initiative, providing integrated support for individuals experiencing mental health challenges, including co-occurring substance use or addiction. You will predominantly work with individuals aged 25 and over.
Duties of this role will include:
  • Providing evidence-based mental health support and care planning
  • Working closely with Peer Navigators and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic service delivery
  • Conducting assessments, risk evaluations, and safety planning
  • Supporting individuals in engaging with health and social care services
  • Contributing to service development and improvement initiatives
Criteria
Essential:
  • Registration with AHPRA (for Mental Health Nurses, Psychologists, and Occupational Therapists) or AASW (for Social Workers)
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in mental health or alcohol and other drug (AOD) settings
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Desirable:
  • Experience working with vulnerable or priority populations
  • Knowledge of Client Information Management Systems
  • Personal lived experience with mental health challenges is valued
