Facility Manager - Aged Care, Byron Bay

The Organisation

Curamoir Healthcare Recruitment has partnered with a well established not for profit organisation in Byron Bay as they look for their new Facility Manager to join their team! With multiple facilities across the Northern Rivers region, this organisation is passionate, progressive and their residents matter to them. 

The Role

As the Facility Manager at this organisation you will lead and manage the operations of two 40 bed facilities to ensure the delivery of high quality services that meet and exceed all required aged care standards. 

You will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the daily clinical operations of the facility

• Promote positive and productive relationships with key stakeholders, encompassing residents and staff

• Improve clinical governance and risk management strategies

• Supervise quality improvement initiatives for care services

• Coordinate data collection and audit processes

• Implement new systems to improve resident care

• Liaise closely with the Chief Clinical Officer and General Manager of Operations to ultimately improve residents quality of life

Skills & Experience

• AHPRA registration

• At least 5 years experience working in Aged Care

• At least 3 years experience in a leadership position

• Knowledge of aged care standards and accreditations 

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

• A keen eye for problem solving and providing effective solutions
