The Role

As a Rehabilitation Consultant (Exercise Physiologist), you will play a pivotal role in helping clients regain independence and achieve their goals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments to develop and implement tailored rehabilitation plans.
  • Designing and delivering intervention programs to enhance functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
  • Identifying barriers and creating actionable programs to maximize work participation.
  • Navigating various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes to empower clients in their wellness journey.
  • Collaborating with clients, families, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to ensure positive outcomes.

Essential Criteria

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Exercise Physiology accredited by ESSA.
  • A passion for improving lives and delivering exceptional customer care.
  • Strong client engagement and stakeholder management skills.
  • A commitment to high standards of service delivery.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for community work.
  • A current (or ability to obtain) Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
