The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Counselling Coach and Case Manager with room to grow into a Team Lead position. Offering flexible options for remote work, outreach, and in-office days. This unique role offers the chance to provide therapeutic support and case management to young people and adults living with disabilities, through a mix of one-on-one counselling, mentoring, and community-based activities. You’ll run and coordinate engaging programs such as horse riding, canoeing, gym sessions, wellbeing chats, and social events like movie nights and games nights. You will support peer leaders with lived experience, help them meet grant activity KPIs, and work alongside stakeholders, schools, clubs, and families to ensure inclusive and meaningful engagement. A key part of the role involves planning and facilitating group events, managing your own caseload, and helping to build capacity in others. This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead in developing innovative programs, with room for career growth into higher leadership. Essential criteria:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Occupational Therapy
  • 5+ years in case management, youth work, or community engagement
  • Counselling experience 
  • Strong administrative skills 
  • Team leadership experience (or strong potential to grow into leadership)
  • Understanding of the NDIS and disability sector and experience in sector
  • Strong community engagement, stakeholder communication, and event coordination abilities
  • Ability to manage workload autonomously while working collaboratively in a team
