They have a wonderful opportunity to join their team as an Occupational Therapist Clinical Lead and work towards building the team and progress towards a supervisor role.
The Role:
- Your focus will be to provide NDIS capacity building services and return to work to people with injury, illness or disability.
- Clinical support and education of internal staff including Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants including mentoring of graduate students
- Working with clients and/or guardians to undertake assessments and implement recommendations (i.e., Functional Assessment, Assistive Technology Assessment etc.)
- Development and delivery (or supervise) tailored client therapy to meet identified goals
- Liaison with key stakeholders involved in the client’s care
- Working with and alongside an internal multi-disciplinary team to maximise the client’s quality of life.
- Contribution to improvements in the quality of community needs driven services offered by the team.
- Formal qualifications in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration
- Extensive experience in the provision of Occupational Therapy services across a range of diagnoses
- Clinical lead experience or desire and clinical background to develop into such a role
- Ability to engage readily with people of all ages and backgrounds
- Excellent communication skills, and commitment to person-centred engagement and work with limited supervision
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
