About:
Our client is a multi-disciplinary organisation that provides NDIS services throughout Adelaide as well as injury prevention and management, disability employment services by offering a unique person-centric service. They have a wonderful opportunity to join their team as an Occupational Therapist Clinical Lead and work towards building the team and progress towards a supervisor role.

The Role:
  • Your focus will be to provide NDIS capacity building services and return to work to people with injury, illness or disability. 
  • Clinical support and education of internal staff including Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants including mentoring of graduate students
  • Working with clients and/or guardians to undertake assessments and implement recommendations (i.e., Functional Assessment, Assistive Technology Assessment etc.)
  • Development and delivery (or supervise) tailored client therapy to meet identified goals
  • Liaison with key stakeholders involved in the client’s care
  • Working with and alongside an internal multi-disciplinary team to maximise the client’s quality of life.
  • Contribution to improvements in the quality of community needs driven services offered by the team.
Essential Criteria:
  • Formal qualifications in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration
  • Extensive experience in the provision of Occupational Therapy services across a range of diagnoses
  • Clinical lead experience or desire and clinical background to develop into such a role
  • Ability to engage readily with people of all ages and backgrounds
  • Excellent communication skills, and commitment to person-centred engagement and work with limited supervision
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)
