On Offer:

  • Work as part of an amazing team of Financial Counsellors and Case Managers, contributing to improved outcomes for those in financial crisis.
The Role:
  • As the Team Leader of the Financial Wellbeing and Capability (FWC) programs, you will be responsible for implementing, leading, and integrating the programs to achieve their objectives.
  • Your focus will be on ensuring consistent participant experience and support across all sites, as well as implementing best practice frameworks.
  • A varied role involving outreach work in remote communities, travelling by light aircraft, with some overnight stays. 
  • You will lead an integrated team, providing support and guidance to ensure high-quality service delivery in line with contractual obligations and the needs of the community.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Financial Counsellor with extensive experience in Financial Counselling and team leadership.
  • Be a member of or eligible for membership of a relevant financial counselling association.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, including report and case note writing, and the ability to work with diverse cultural groups.
  • Have experience in recording and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data, as well as providing supervision to multi-disciplinary staff.
  • Demonstrate cultural competency, particularly in working with Indigenous people.
  • Hold Australian citizenship or have unlimited work rights within Australia.
  • Possess a valid NT Driver's License and Ochre Card.
  • Be willing to undergo criminal history checks and obtain necessary clearances.
  • Be willing to comply with COVID-19 vaccine requirements.
