The role:
As a Speech Pathologist,, you will work with clients who have lifelong disabilities, whether congenital or acquired. Occasionally, you will also encounter clients with less permanent disabilities, such as early intervention language clients and those with milder speech sound difficulties. No two days look the same. Our client is committed to meeting their clients' needs by offering in-clinic appointments, home visits, sessions at schools or childcare centres, and even appointments at various community locations as required.

In this role, you will be supported by Senior Therapists, Allied Health Assistants, and a strong Administration Team, including a Resource Officer or as a Senior Therapist/Team Lead will provide support to your peers. Your caseload will vary, potentially encompassing paediatric, adolescent, adult, or mixed clients, depending on your expertise and the needs of your clients. The provision of evidence-based, person-centred assessment, clinical management, and intervention to your clients is essential to our practice.

Your daily responsibilities will include seeing clients face to face, completing notes, creating resources, liaising with other stakeholders, and writing reports as needed. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of communication issues, including speech, language, voice, social communication, and multimodal communication. Additionally, you may explore other assistive technology or mealtime management if these are areas of interest for you.

Our client strives to go above and beyond for their clients and provide a dynamic and supportive work environment for their team members. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and are eager to be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, we invite you to join us.
