The role:
We are currently recruiting a Speech Pathologist with expertise in paediatric therapy. In this clinic-based role, you will work with children aged 0-16 who present a range of communication and feeding needs. The caseload includes clients with conditions such as global developmental delay, ASD, ADHD, and other neurological or genetic diagnoses. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing therapy plans, and delivering interventions tailored to each child's unique needs.

Your responsibilities will also include collaborating with families to set functional goals, using tools like the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM) to track progress. Most of the therapy sessions will take place in the clinic, with occasional opportunities to provide home or school consultations and telehealth services. You will also participate in multidisciplinary meetings to ensure holistic care for your clients.

In addition to providing therapy, you will play a key role in supporting and coaching parents to help their children achieve their goals in everyday environments.

Essential Criteria:
  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology or related discipline
  • SPA Registration
  • Driver's licence & access to a reliable vehicle
  • WWCC, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Police Check
