The Speech Pathologist is responsible for independently providing a high standard, effective and efficient clinical speech pathology service across a variety of service delivery modes. Be apart of a supportive organisation that support learning and development for new graduates and clinicians with 2-3 years' experience. Based in clinic & local schools. Designated report writing hours are blocked off and manageable KPI's.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct skilled clinical assessments and interventions across various clinical areas and service delivery modes
- Provide specialist advice and services in specific areas of speech pathology
- Manage complex cases with independent professional judgment
- Work with children and families through the NDIA process
- Develop and review therapy resources and educational materials
- Engage in policy development, service planning, and evaluation
- Maintain and participate in professional development activities
- Provide education and training to colleagues, health professionals, students, and the wider community
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings
- Paediatric Experience
- SPA Registration
- Valid WWCC Check, Child Safe & RAN-EC Training.
- Valid driving licence
- Eligibility to be registered as a Medicare Provider and as a provider with health funds
