The role:
As the Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist at the organisation, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, empathetic therapy services to children and their families. Your role involves engaging in holistic treatment processes, addressing the underlying causes of health issues, and ensuring the continuation of progress outside of clinical hours where appropriate. You will also be expected to create a nurturing and professional environment for your patients, embodying the core values of warmth, compassion, and a commitment to excellent care.

In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will play an integral role in the organisation's interdisciplinary healthcare team. This includes participating in regular departmental and paediatric meetings, collaborating with other practitioners to provide co-consultations or case reviews, and ensuring seamless referrals when further assistance is needed. Maintaining clear and concise communication with all professionals involved in your clients' care is essential.

This position offers flexibility, as it can be structured either as a salaried role or a subcontractor position. You will have the opportunity to maintain your professional development while contributing to the organisation's dedication to delivering exceptional care to the community.


Essential Criteria:
  • Full AHPRA Registration
  • Tertiary qualification in relevant Occupational Therapy
  • Minimum 3 years' experience
  • Current Drivers' License
  • Access to fully insured car
  • NDIS Workers Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Current Police Check
  • Australian Business Number (ABN) (sub-contractor position)
  • Hold Professional Liability and Insurance (sub-contractor position)
