As the Project Officer for this project, your primary responsibility will be to lead the development and execution of key projects that aim to reduce and ultimately end homelessness across the Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay regions. This will involve creating and implementing a comprehensive project plan that aligns with the action plans of the project, ensuring the successful delivery of its objectives.
You will engage with essential stakeholders, both local and regional, to foster collaboration and ensure smooth project operations. This includes facilitating team meetings and workshops, managing training schedules, and supporting the utilisation of the Australian Homelessness Vulnerability Triage Tool (AHVTT). Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing and distributing reports, materials, and submissions based on action plans, meetings, and ongoing advocacy efforts.
Your role will also involve preparing advocacy materials using research, data insights, and housing outcomes to inform your communications. You will oversee the project’s communication efforts, including managing content for the website and updating visual management records like Mural/Miro. Additionally, you will contribute to the updates for the Australian Alliance to End Homelessness website.

Essential Criteria:
- Tertiary undergraduate degree related to Human Services (highly desired)
- Demonstrated experience in Project Management roles
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to engage key external stakeholders
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities
- High level of computer and systems literacy
- Contemporary understanding of frameworks and research related to reducing and preventing homelessness
- Valid Queensland open driver's license with no restrictions and reliable transport (or willingness to obtain)
- QLD Working with Children Check (Paid Blue Card), Licensed Care Service Suitability Check (LCS2), and National Criminal History Check (required)
