The role:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality therapy services to clients referred through various networks, including GPs, NDIS, and other healthcare providers. You will conduct assessments, formulate treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to support individuals with emotional, mental, physiological, or behavioral challenges. Your role will involve collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized and group therapy programs, ensuring that interventions align with professional, ethical, and legal standards.
Effective communication is a key aspect of this role, as you will engage with clients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to provide clear guidance and support. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and confidential documentation, preparing reports for clients and funding bodies, and actively participating in service improvement initiatives. Your ability to manage workload demands will be essential in delivering timely clinical services, consultations, and ongoing professional development.

You will be expected to meet performance targets, contribute to quality assurance activities, and uphold a client-centred approach to service delivery. Essential Criteria- Minimum Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy or relevant discipline
- AHPRA registration (can support Limited Reg and AHPRA supervision)
- Valid NDIS Check
- Working With Children Check
- Police Check
- Driving License
- Medicare Providers Number
