The role:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality therapy services to adults in the community, focusing on individual assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing support. You will provide both one-on-one and group-based services, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each client. A key part of your role will be collaborating with clients, their families, and other stakeholders to set goals and create effective care plans.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, you will work closely with support coordinators, NDIS planners, and other allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive, client-centered care. You will play an active role in group programs such as the Welcome Café, which supports clients with young-onset dementia and their carers. Your contribution will be essential to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based services that enhance client well-being and independence.

Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records is a crucial aspect of this role, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and funding requirements. You will also be involved in interdisciplinary team meetings, case reviews, and continuous improvement processes, contributing to the overall effectiveness and quality of the service.

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy or relevant discipline
• Full AHPRA registration
