The Role

As a community-based team, they predominantly see clients either in their homes, group homes, aged care facilities, or in a public setting relevant for the client (e.g., out and about testing a new wheelchair). They aim to see clients where they are most comfortable while also providing a diverse role full of variety and learning opportunities.

Some team members schedule a full day of seeing clients one day, then balance this by working from home or having an office day to write reports, prepare resources, and have supervision/training. Employees can mix things up depending on how they like to work!

A community role allows genuine flexibility and control over how employees structure their days, ensuring they don't miss afternoon sports or the ability to drop the kids to school in the mornings/pick them up in the afternoons!

Depending on where employees live, the caseload is tailored to service clients close to home. The personalised admin support team ensures efficient travel routes, and clients are seen close to the employee's location.

The role can be constructed as either full-time or part-time, with offices in Neutral Bay, Liverpool, and Blacktown available for use.

  • Service a predominantly adult, NDIS or DVA caseload
  • Provide high-level clinical services including client assessment and treatment, therapy, equipment prescription, home assessment, and modifications
  • Run various educational sessions and therapy programs
  • Produce high standard, comprehensive Occupational Therapy reports
Essential Criteria
  • Approved qualification in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration
  • Current driver's license with use of own vehicle
