Duties and responsibilities
The Clinical Care Manager works closely with the Facility Manager. As the Care Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of person centered care, ensuring the residents are at the heart of what you do. You will provide leadership to the clinical team to create a collaborative working environment as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will utilise your clinical and management skills whilst adhering to aged care quality standards. Ultimately, you will ensure a safe environment within the facilities and strive to improve the resident's quality of life.

Duties and responsibilities
The Clinical Care Manager works closely with the Facility Manager. As the Care Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of person centered care, ensuring the residents are at the heart of what you do. You will provide leadership to the clinical team to create a collaborative working environment as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will utilise your clinical and management skills whilst adhering to aged care quality standards. Ultimately, you will ensure a safe environment within the facilities and strive to improve the resident's quality of life.
- Provides support, guidance and mentoring of the Care Coordinators.
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to clinical staff, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and policies;
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of clinical care, implement strategies for improvement, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams;
- Demonstrate clinical expertise, support clinical operations, and assist in policy development and strategic planning.
Skills & Experience
This opportunity will suit a progressive Registered Nurse seeking career advancement or a well-versed Care Manager looking for a new challenge!
- AHPRA registration
- A minimum of 5 years nursing experience in aged care
- At least 1-2 years' experience managing a team
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A keen eye for problem solving and providing effective solutions under pressure
