Your Role:
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you'll be essential in delivering individualized support to clients across NSW. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing clients' needs, strengths, and areas for growth comprehensively.
- Designing and implementing behaviour support plans based on best practices and individual goals.
- Collaborating with clients, families, caregivers, and teams to provide holistic support.
- Training and guiding clients' support networks for effective implementation of strategies.
- Monitoring progress, collecting data, and adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Staying updated with the latest research in behavior analysis and positive support strategies.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related field.
- Certification as a Mental Health Social Worker (AASW).
- BCBA certification is a plus.
- Experience in behavioral assessments and support plan development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills.
