The Role

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be responsible for facilitating workplace rehabilitation to ensure clients achieve the highest level of functional performance and a successful return to work or daily life. You will use your clinical decision-making skills to assess, plan, implement, and monitor the recovery journey of individuals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments specific to your discipline, such as workplace evaluations.
  • Managing cases through regular client communication (via phone, email, or in-person meetings).
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate care.
  • Completing necessary reports, including comprehensive note-taking.
  • Travelling to appointments as needed.
  • Adhering to all timeframes and service agreements.

Essential Criteria

  • Relevant qualification
  • Excellent communication skills, including report writing and the ability to work with a range of clientele.
  • Strong time management abilities to effectively manage a caseload.
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and collaborate on client recovery strategies.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to offer innovative solutions for clients.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and growth.
